Padre,
I know you know I don’t hold to any one faith...BUT: Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
I’ve noticed that right now I need to be lost, to find my way again. And, for some reason, I keep waking up and tackling my life…I’m going to assume it’s your stubborness working its way through me.
I’m hurting and it’s hard. But, as much as I’d like to just end it all, I make it through. I can’t decide if I’m a chicken-shit, curious, or just have you to thank…but I’m getting by with the very single, distant hope that I will get everything I want and deserve after these very challenging 21 years of life. I just want you to know that.
